Election Notice MIAMI-DADE COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD SCHEDULE FEBRUARY 16, 2021 COCOPLUM PHASE ONE STREET LIGHTING SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT ELECTION (Subject to Change) The Miami-Dade County Canvassing Board will convene at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, 2700 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172. The Canvassing Board is convening on these dates for the Cocoplum Phase One Street Lighting Special Taxing District Election (Mail Ballot) to be held on February 16, 2021. For updated Canvassing Board schedule information, visit @MDCElections or iamelectionready.org. DATE/TIME ACTIVITY Thursday, February 11, 2021 10:00 a. m. 1. Logic and Accuracy Test of the optical scan voting system to be used for vote-by-mail ballots Friday, February 12, 2021 commencing at 10:00 a.m. to completion 1. Pre-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the optical scan voting system to be used for vote-by-mail ballots 2. Vote-by-mail ballot opening and processing (as needed) 3. Duplication of ballots (as needed) Tuesday, February 16, 2021 commencing at 7:00 p.m. to completion 1. Tabulation of results 2. Unofficial results Friday, February 19, 2021 commencing at 10:00 a.m. to completion 1. Canvassing of vote-by-mail ballots (as needed) 2. Certification of official results including vote-by-mail ballots 3. Post-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the optical scan voting system used for vote-by-mail ballots 4. Race and precinct(s) selection for manual post-election audit 5. Audit process starts to completion All proceedings will be open to the public. For a sign language interpreter or other accommodations, please call 305-499-8405 at least five days in advance. In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person who appeals any decision by the canvassing board with respect to any matter considered at a meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and therefore will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
