INVITATION TO BID NOTICE TO BIDDERS/PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS Bidders must submit their sealed bids to Historic Hampton House Trust, Inc., Attention Jacquetta Colyer, at 4240 NW 27 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33142, by June 12, 2023, and no later than 2:00 p.m. EST. HISTORIC HAMPTON HOUSE BUILD-OUT PHASE IV MUSIC STUDIO Scope of Work: The scope of this project includes all construction and permitting to complete the Phase IV build-out of a Music Studio at the Historic Hampton House building. The scope of work includes finishes, HVAC, and electrical work. This project, in whole or in part, will be assisted through Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development with Federal funding from Community Development Block Grant Community Development Grant (CDBG) and as such general contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, including but not limited to, Davis Bacon Act and Section 3 requirements. Construction experience with recording music studio is recommended, but not required. Historic Hampton House Trust, Inc. has scheduled a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the following date, time, and location: Location: 4240 NW 27 Avenue, Miami, FL 33142 Date/Time: May 15, 2023 / 11:30 a.m. Bid packages containing complete instructions, construction plans and specifications may be obtained in PDF format on or after April 28, 2023, from A + S Architects, Planners P.A. in response to email requests to aplussarc@msn.com The contract shall be awarded to the lowest most responsive responsible bidder. The successful bidder shall then obtain any required permits. The final work shall be constructed according to Florida Building Code. In addition, prospective bidders must comply with all applicable State and local Ordinances and Codes, bonding, and insurance requirements and/or with other authorities having jurisdiction. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered and will be returned to bidder unopened.
