Postsecondary
Miami-Dade County Public Schools operates six technical colleges
and one specialized center that offer over 60 postsecondary
certificate programs in business administration, commercial arts
and 3-D animation, commercial foods, culinary arts and baking,
construction and apprenticeship, licensed childcare, health
occupations, information technology, persona I services, public safety
and security, manufacturing, and transportation. These programs
prepare students for employment. For information regarding our

from specific programs through placement tests and counseling,

students for successful participation.
Secondary
Miami-Dade County Public Schools offers career and technical
education (CTE) programs at the middle and high school levels. Many
of these programs prepare students for entering postsecondary CTE
