MUNICIPAL CANVASSING BOARD SCHEDULE
HOMESTEAD PRIMARY ELECTION – OCTOBER 1, 2019
The City of Homestead Canvassing Board will convene at the Office of the Supervisor of
Elections, 2700 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172. The Canvassing Board is convening on
these dates for the October 1, 2019 Homestead Primary Election.
Tuesday, September 24, 2019
10:00 a.m.

1. Logic and Accuracy Test of the touch
screen and optical scan voting system to
be used for vote-by-mail, early voting and
precinct ballots

2:00 p.m.

2. Public inspection of vote-by-mail ballots

Friday, September 27, 2019
commencing at 10:00 a.m. to completion

1. Pre-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the
optical scan voting system used for votebymail and provisional ballots
2. Approval to commence voteby-mail ballot
opening, processing, and duplication
3. Vote-by-mail ballot opening and processing (as needed)
Duplication of ballots (as needed)

Tuesday, October 1, 2019
commencing at 11:00 a.m. to completion

1. Vote-by-mail ballot opening and processing (as needed)
2. Duplication of ballots (as needed)

Commencing at 5:00 p.m. to

2. Certification of Official Results including

3. Post-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the

4. Race and precinct(s) selection for manual
post-election audit
5.
Audit process starts to completion
