Former Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dennis Moss; Community Health of South Florida Inc. (CHI) CEO Brodes H. Hartley Jr.; Miami-Dade County Commissioner Kionne McGhee and Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava (L-R) at CHI's 50th anniversary gala. The health care organization is raising funds for its Children's Crisis Center, an 11,400-square-foot, in-patient 24-hour facility that will treat children suffering from severe mental illness, and provide full-service mental health care for children up to age 17, regardless of their ability to pay. After breaking ground May 2020, construction has already begun at 10300 SW 216 St., Miami, FL 33190, adjacent to CHI’s headquarters. The center is scheduled to open in early 2022.
