Musical performers Shaggy, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Jahmel, Code Red Band and others contributed to the vibe of the 15th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in Sunrise’s Markham Park on Sunday, Nov. 13. But the real star of the Jerk Fest was the food.

Amateurs, professionals, celebrities and personalities went head to head to present the best jerk dishes in cooking demonstrations and competitions held in the Publix Culinary Pavilion. Chefs included Golden Krust's Chef Odean, Andre Fowles and Irie Spice. Many competed for cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights.

This year's Celebrity Chef Throwdown pitted Eddie Jackson against chef Maxcel Hardy. For the Celebrity Quick Fire Challenge, WPLG Channel 10's Todd Tongen faced off with Miss Jamaica World, Ashlie Barrett. Lastly, professionals and amateurs battled for the coveted Dutch Pot Trophy in the famous Publix Jerk Cook-off.
