For some apparent reason, when African-Americans ascend to a position of power it seems as if they are afraid to help their own people. They sometimes show a willingness in part to help destroy us. I'm not talking about the typical phrase, "I'm going to help you get a job." I'm talking about the lack of a pure willingness to help our communities and our people to move forward.

Whenever individuals from other races are in positions of power, they go all out to help their people. They show them their willingness of what they would do to put them and their communities in a position to succeed and they could careless about what anyone says or thinks. All we get from our leaders are great speeches. And if our people aren't getting shot by the police or by each other, than that there is really nothing to talk about.

The Black community should be more than gunshots, sons dying and mothers crying and not-for-profit organizations. Let me be clear - I'm not saying that anything's wrong with having not-for-profit organizations in the Black community because they do play a vital role with different programming that provides much-needed help to our people in various ways.

What we need to be more about is socio-economic and community wealth building. But what is now coming to light is the people who we have put our trust in to be the gatekeepers for our community have walked away and left the gate wide open so that thieves can raid the temple. In the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 22:30 it says, ”So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land that I should not destroy it but I found no one."

If there is no one to stand in the gap and the gatekeepers are not manning the gate, who is willing to do the job? The Black community has been pillaged, exploited and used up like a $2-whore because of those who look like us have now taken on a Sons of Eli and Willie Lynch mindset that says, "As long as I get mine you can screw the rest of them n*****s over.

It is the very same people who look just like us who have developed this mindset. They are as selfish as silver-spooned spoiled brats whose only awareness is that of themselves. They have no conscience.

There is an election coming up next year in 2020 and what we're going to soon find out is that a lot of people who's in office and are now seeking higher office have sold themselves out to the highest bidder. They haven't just gotten that way; they've been that way. And what we're going to soon find out is what everyone else knew all along. Those n*****s are a part of the problem not the solution. They are the ones who left the gate open.
